Rocket Lab (NASDAQ:RKLB) doesn’t procrastinate on Mondays. The launcher had a busy day.

In NZ: Rocket Lab launched “The Owl’s Night Continues” from its new Pad B. An Electron successfully deployed a StriX-β satellite for Japanese SAR operator Synspective. To date, Rocket Lab has now deployed 110 satellites.

In VA: As rumored, Rocket Lab has selected Wallops Island, Virginia, for the site of Neutron’s first launchpad and a 250,000-sq-ft. factory/operations facility for the next-gen rocket. Neutron, as a quick reminder, is an 8-ton reusable rocket under development that could eventually support human spaceflight.

In NYC: $RKLB announced Q4 and full-year financial results. 2021 revenue grew 77% year-over-year to $62.2M, while Q4 revenue came in at $27.5M, a 420% quarter over quarter increase.

  • Q4 ’21 Launch Services revenue jumped ~1,120% QoQ. Why the huge increase? Well, the company wasn’t able to launch for months in NZ due to Covid restrictions. Think the team was excited to get back out to the launchpad?
  • Looking forward…$RKLB guided Q1’ 22 revenue to $42M-$47M.
