Anduril Industries announced this morning that it will acquire ExoAnalytic Solutions—a move that will double the neo prime’s space headcount.

The acquisition of the SDA and missile-defense firm will boost Anduril’s SSA offerings for natsec space customers, according to company officials.

“Ultimately we believe the department deserves the best catalog of everything going on in space,” Gokul Subramanian, Anduril’s SVP of engineering, said on a press call. “We want to be part of that solution for the warfighter.”

Anduril officials declined to share the terms of the deal.

More details: Anduril already has big business providing SSA services to the DoD, including work on a five-year, $99.7M Space Force contract awarded in late 2024 to improve the US Space Surveillance Network. Programs like that are expected to make good use of ExoAnalytic’s network of 400+ telescopes, which the company uses to provide classified tracking and simulation services to DoD.

Subramanian said that ExoAnalytic will be folded into Anduril, not operated as a subsidiary. That means ExoAnalytic engineers will be directly working on Anduril projects.

Despite that, the company will still sell ExoAnalytic’s current offerings to customers outside of Anduril.

What’s next: Subramanian said Anduril’s purely space-focused workforce includes 120 people—a number that will grow to 250+ once the company absorbs ExoAnalytic’s 130+ employees.
