“Physics doesn’t care how much capital you’ve got. Poor engineering decisions don’t care how much capital you’ve got,” said Beck. “For a rocket company to come together to produce a product…and business that works is really, really hard.”
For the satellite communications industry, change has become the new constant.
“I think the rubber is really going to meet the road,” Umbra COO Todd Master told Payload. “A lot of interesting tech got put into space. The question now is what of that data actually is needed by customers—that customers are willing to pay for?”
