Epsilon3 has announced the release of its Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) High Authorized product, becoming one of fewer than 80 software-as-a-service (SaaS) vendors to meet the US government’s highest cloud security standard. The authorization marks a significant milestone for the company and its customers across the aerospace, defense, energy, and national security sectors.
The designation reflects Epsilon3’s commitment to protecting mission-critical data and modernizing operations for both public and private sector organizations working with sensitive government information.
What is FedRAMP?
FedRAMP provides a standardized approach to security assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring for cloud products used by US federal agencies. The program simplifies and accelerates the adoption of secure cloud technologies by offering a pre-vetted marketplace of trusted solutions.
FedRAMP defines three levels of impact—Low, Moderate, and High—corresponding to the sensitivity of data that cloud systems are permitted to manage. FedRAMP High is the most stringent tier, required for systems handling the government’s most sensitive unclassified data, such as Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).
Earning this designation means Epsilon3’s software architecture and internal security controls meet and maintain the most rigorous standards. This includes continuous validation through audits by a Third-Party Assessment Organization (3PAO) and oversight from federal bodies such as the General Services Administration (GSA) and Department of Defense (DoD).
Why FedRAMP High Authorization Matters
Securing FedRAMP High status carries significant implications for federal agencies and contractors alike. Agencies including the DoD, NASA, and DHS face mounting pressure to modernize operations while protecting sensitive data—a challenge compounded by the limitations of legacy systems.
Epsilon3’s FedRAMP High authorization offers these organizations a compliant, cloud-native platform to plan, execute, and track complex procedures with confidence. For commercial partners working under government contracts, the designation is often a prerequisite for handling CUI and complying with regulatory requirements.
“The release of our FedRAMP High product not only highlights an enormous body of work dedicated to this craft but also our long-standing commitment to keeping your data safe at all times,” said Laura Crabtree, co-founder and CEO of Epsilon3. “When we started Epsilon3 in 2021, there was always one guiding light to our product development that still rings true: We need to protect our customers’ data to the highest extent possible.”
With this authorization, Epsilon3 joins an elite group of SaaS providers recognized for their ability to support the most security-conscious government missions. The company now ranks among the most trusted software platforms available to U.S. public sector and regulated commercial users.
A Long-Term Investment in Security
Achieving FedRAMP High Authorization required a multi-year, company-wide effort. Epsilon3 redesigned portions of its platform architecture, reinforced internal policies and procedures, strengthened monitoring capabilities, and implemented continuous compliance systems to meet federal standards.
Ongoing obligations under the FedRAMP program include annual 3PAO audits, monthly compliance reporting to the FedRAMP Program Management Office (PMO), and continuous assessment of evolving threat landscapes. This means customers benefit from a solution that is not only secure at launch, but maintained to that level throughout its lifecycle.
“Securing FedRAMP High authorization is one of the biggest milestones in our company’s history,” said Max Mednik, co-founder and COO of Epsilon3. “It’s a testament to the discipline, skill, and teamwork of our engineering, security, and IT teams. We’re honored to support the federal workforce and our commercial partners with a secure solution they can trust to plan, execute, and track complex operations, wherever they are.”
Looking Ahead
Epsilon3 views its FedRAMP High authorization not as an endpoint, but as a foundation for continued innovation in secure operations management. The company is expanding its work with federal agencies, defense contractors, and critical infrastructure providers to deliver the next generation of secure workflow software.
As Epsilon3 scales, its security-first posture will remain central to the product roadmap. The goal is to provide mission-critical users with a platform that protects sensitive information without sacrificing speed, usability, or collaboration.
